Hello! I'm a culture and lifestyle journalist from Birmingham, now based in London. My specialism is in the arts, particularly in theatre, TV and comedy. My bylines include The Guardian, The Times, The Independent, The i and Time Out.

I am a driven multimedia journalist with experience working in print, online, television and radio. From 2021 - 2023 I worked as a TV writer for BBC Three where I developed a specialism in comedy and I have worked at Tatler as a features writer and editor. I regularly work across Radio 4 in their arts unit as an assistant producer and in TV at programmes such as This Morning and The One Show.

Since 2020, I have worked as a theatre and comedy critic at an array of publications including The Guardian, The Times, Time Out, The Independent, The Stage and The i paper - admittedly, I started reviewing live art at a time when very little of it was happening! From here, I began profiling some of the biggest names in theatre and comedy, ranging from Jack Rooke, Grace Campbell, Guz Khan and Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss. I’ve subsequently reviewed at festivals, including Glastonbury, concerts such as Blur at Wembley and in 2023 covered the London Film Festival for Tatler.

While the arts is my main area of expertise, I have also reported on lifestyle news and write pieces on dating, friendship, food, exercise and mental health. I am now a regular contributor for T2 at The Times.

I have also worked as a copywriter for brands including Disney, written various programme notes for theatres such as The Almeida and have assisted writing scripts for broadcast. I have sat on the panel for The Edinburgh Comedy Awards, The Women’s Prize for Playwriting and The Evening Standard Awards and have lots of experience scriptreading and acting as a dramaturg.

As a broadcaster, I’ve spoken on programmes including The Today programme, Woman’s Hour, The Big Debate and have presented podcasts for TheatreVoice.
